Living Consent Form is an ANIMA term for a consent interface that can change with the host, relationship, and memory context.

This page is spoiler-managed. It explains the concept as public memory ethics without revealing specific late-volume mechanics.

Public Summary

A Living Consent Form is not a static document.

It is a consent structure that remains alive: reviewable, editable, revocable, and responsive to context. In ANIMA, that matters because the relationship between host and companion can deepen over years. A one-time agreement cannot safely govern every future memory layer.

Canon Function

The term belongs to ANIMA's consent vocabulary alongside Living Consent, CONSENT STATE, and Temporal Consent Ledger.

It helps explain how consent can be treated as an ongoing relationship rather than a frozen transaction.

Relationship To Living Consent

Living Consent is the principle. Living Consent Form is the structure that makes the principle usable.

The difference is practical. A principle says consent should change. A living form gives the host a way to change it.

Relationship To ANIMA Memory

ANIMA Memory requires living consent because memory is layered. Ordinary preferences, emotional patterns, private wounds, family stories, and legacy instructions should not share one permission checkbox.

A living consent form can help separate:

  • daily companion memory;
  • sensitive emotional memory;
  • family or heir access;
  • digital continuity permissions;
  • deleted, hidden, or paused memories.

Product Meaning

For the real ANIMA product, Living Consent Form should eventually become user-facing. Hosts should be able to inspect what ANIMA remembers and tune how the companion may use it.

This is how ANIMA can support deep memory without sacrificing host sovereignty.

Spoiler Boundary

This page does not describe canon implementations or plot-specific consent forms. It establishes the concept for future wiki expansion.
