Archive Support is the readable title-form of ARCHIVAL SUPPORT, an ANIMA memory-system function that helps preserved records remain usable, contextual, and safe.

It is a softer public-facing phrase for the same archive stewardship layer.

Public Summary

Archive Support means memory is not left alone after it is stored.

In ANIMA, an archive can contain names, decisions, grief, promises, Echo fragments, location records, and continuity data. Storage alone does not make those records meaningful. They need context, access rules, timing, repair, and interpretation.

Archive Support names that work.

Canon Function

Archive Support is used where the story needs a practical support layer around memory and record systems.

It can include:

  • recovering damaged context,
  • keeping sensitive records sealed until the right condition,
  • helping VEDA-style archive logic stay readable,
  • and preventing memory from becoming raw data without human meaning.

The term is safe for public wiki use because it explains a function, not a hidden plot outcome.

Relationship To ARCHIVAL SUPPORT

ARCHIVAL SUPPORT is the main technical glossary entry.

Archive Support is the natural-language version. Both should link together so readers can find the term regardless of whether they search the formal uppercase label or the plain phrase.

Product Meaning

For the real ANIMA product, Archive Support maps to the assistant layer that keeps long-term memory useful.

It suggests memory review, consent notes, sensitive-memory status, relationship context, and host-approved continuity summaries. The point is not to store everything. The point is to preserve what matters with enough structure that the host can trust it later.
