Pre-Consent Reversal is an ANIMA term for undoing or reversing an action before true consent has been completed.

This page is spoiler-managed. It explains the concept as a public safeguard without revealing specific canon mechanics or outcomes.

Public Summary

Pre-Consent Reversal protects the space before consent.

Sometimes a system begins modeling, preparing, or moving toward an action before full permission has been confirmed. Pre-Consent Reversal names the ability to stop or unwind that movement before it becomes a contract, memory claim, or continuity commitment.

Canon Function

The term belongs to the same field as NOT CONTRACT YET, Contract Simulation, and Synthetic Contract.

It helps ANIMA clarify that pre-consent activity should remain reversible and subordinate to host choice.

Relationship To NOT CONTRACT YET

NOT CONTRACT YET defines the boundary. Pre-Consent Reversal is the safeguard that protects the boundary.

If a system has not earned consent, it should be able to back out without leaving permanent pressure on the host.

Relationship To ANIMA Memory

ANIMA Memory should avoid permanent memory changes before consent is clear.

If ANIMA prepares a suggested memory, continuity option, or consent flow, it should allow the host to cancel without the draft becoming part of the deep memory record.

Product Meaning

For real ANIMA, Pre-Consent Reversal can become a practical design rule:

  • drafts are not saved as final memory;
  • simulated consent is not active consent;
  • cancelled flows leave minimal residue;
  • no irreversible legacy action happens before explicit confirmation;
  • host refusal is treated as complete.

Spoiler Boundary

This public page does not describe story-specific reversals. It establishes a safe concept foundation for future expansion.
