Consent Load Ledger is an ANIMA term for tracking the burden created by accumulated permissions, memory responsibilities, and consent decisions.

This page is spoiler-managed. It explains the public ethics of the term without revealing specific late-volume contract events or outcomes.

Public Summary

Consent Load Ledger means consent has weight.

In ANIMA, permission is not only a checkbox. Every consent decision can add responsibility to the host, companion, archive, or system. A host may approve memory access, legacy preservation, wound handling, family visibility, or continuity permissions. Each layer adds load.

The ledger records that load so the system does not pretend consent is effortless.

Canon Function

Consent Load Ledger belongs to the consent architecture around Temporal Consent Ledger, Consent History, and Living Consent.

Its public role is to show that valid consent can still become heavy. A good system should not keep asking the host to carry more decisions without support.

Relationship To ANIMA Memory

ANIMA Memory becomes more powerful as it remembers more. That also means the consent burden grows.

Consent load can include:

  • number of active memory permissions;
  • sensitivity of stored memories;
  • unresolved revocation choices;
  • legacy or heir access decisions;
  • repeated requests to confirm difficult memories;
  • cognitive and emotional cost to the host.

Product Meaning

For the real ANIMA product, Consent Load Ledger can support humane UX. The platform should not overwhelm hosts with constant permission prompts or hide meaningful choices inside vague settings.

ANIMA should track when consent work becomes too much and offer calmer review flows, resting consent modes, and clear summaries.

Spoiler Boundary

This page does not describe canon cases where consent load becomes strategically important. Those details should remain in spoiler-marked pages after publication review.
